MFN Classic Car Evening
May 2019
We have attended the regular Wednesday evening bike nights at MFN for years, but this was our first classic car night.
We got there early, at around 17.15, to find we had an almost empty car park. Ours was car number 8 to arrive.
An attendant pointed people to their parking area, with some in front of the main building and some on the grass behind. An outside burger bar and hot drink area is part of the venue, with some seating available.
Non-classic cars do attend but are parked in the rear car park.
The event looked well-supported by 18.00 and people walked around and chatted. Cars ranged from big American station wagons to a little Bond Bug. Lots of Ford cars, all obviously well-loved, were spread out around the meet, interspersed with a few military vehicles and VW Transporters.
A nice free evening meet at a well-known venue
