What’s can you expect
The show covers three halls at the NEC (3-5) and presents hundreds of cars, from a pile of bits to complete show-stoppers.
One of the main displays at the show features the Barn Finds. There's a nice area to relax, if you don’t mind sitting on a bale of straw. There is always some very interesting cars in this section.
The Classic Vehicle Clubs are a big attraction, with more than 150 clubs, all full of enthusiastic members ready to help with your questions and sign you up.
The Live Stage is always popular and the usual TV stars like Mike Brewer are there to explain what’s going on.
Pride of Ownership: This year the star cars are on show in this popular competition, and can show what is possible with a little hard work and knowledge.
Part of Hall 4 is the Autojumble and trade stands. Just about everything you need, from lifts to gear knobs are available here.
The Workshop: This is a demo by experts to help with your restoration. The demo is on-going throughout the three days. Several other onsite restorations are also taking place like this Porsche 944 engine replacement.
Sporting Bears Dream Rides: This is where you get the chance to take a 10 mile ride in a car of your dreams for a great cause.

Food
If you’re taking a family, it might be best to pack lunch. However, we ate at The Edge, one of the NEC restaurants, and the meals were excellent.
Generally meals cost around £11.50 each and around £2 extra if you’d like a pudding. Hot drinks are around £2.80 each. Two of us ate for £32 and it was a meal rather than a lunch-time snack.
If you would like a snack, there are several hot pie outlets, with pasties starting at around £3.50.

General Info
The best part of the show is talking to the enthusiasts and looking at their cars. This is a show for the man and his garage and maybe less for women. It is however, a very large event and it is doubtful you would be able to see everything in one day, especially if you take in the auction.
