Sandicliffe Ford Nottingham
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November 2018
This well-organised birthday event covered 2 days. For everyone's enjoyment, quite a collection of Ford cars were on display.
Outside, a line of Mustangs led the way into the dealer's showroom where the two main cars faced each other like opponents getting ready to do battle.
In the blue corner, the 2018 Le Mans Ford GT, driven by O Pla, S Mucke and B Johnson as part of the Chip Ganassi Racing team. They came 6th in class and 21st overall.
The car has an awesome presence, even those just along for the ride out to the showroom couldn't help but be impressed.
The red GT40, across the showroom from the 2018 Le Mans, belongs to the company owner and looks fantastic.
Other cars belonged to friends from local clubs, including a wonderful classic Mustang positioned in pride of place next to the GTs, along with several cars from the RSOC.
A fun time was had by all which included a very popular Silverstone race track simulator.
Looking forward to more similar events. Apologies for the lack of hundreds of photos, we were welcomed by staff and got talking and the time went too fast.
